Seats and the subscription

What does an Institutional Subscription cost?

$99 per named user per month, with a 6-seat minimum, billed monthly. Six seats is $594 a month.

Why is there a six-seat minimum?

3-D is built for decisions made together. Explore, Decide and Challenge only produce a defensible outcome when the people who own the decision, and the people who will have to execute it, are in the room at the same time. Six named seats is the smallest team that can run a real decision end to end, so fewer than six paid seats is not sold.

What counts as a seat?

A seat is one named person in your institution. Seats are not shared logins: the Director's voice allowance and the saved decision record are tied to who actually took part.

Can we add seats later?

Yes. Additional seats are $99 per user per month and are prorated to your next monthly renewal, so a team that grows mid-month pays for the rest of the period rather than starting a new one.

What is included with every seat?

Explore, Decide and Challenge; Director voice interaction; financial what-if modeling; saved work and a shared institutional workspace; downloadable decision reports; and 5 pooled Director voice hours per seat each month.

Can we look before we buy?

Yes. The Free Preview is $0 — one guided 10-minute mission on practice data, with no sign-in and no credit card. It is the quickest way to see the Director, the three experiences and the report before a pilot is proposed.

Director voice hours

How many Director voice hours do we get?

5 Director voice hours per named seat each month, pooled institution-wide rather than locked to individuals. Six seats = 30 shared hours a month; twelve seats = 60.

What spends a voice hour?

Spoken time in a live session with the Director — a group call, a guided mission, a Challenge round. Text-based experiences, saved work, what-if modeling and reports do not consume voice hours.

What happens when the pooled allowance runs out?

The administrator sees hours remaining in the institutional dashboard and is notified at 80% and 100% of included usage. At 100% new voice sessions pause until the monthly allowance renews or an approved top-up is purchased. Saved work, models and reports stay available.

Can we buy more voice hours?

Yes — top-ups come in 5-hour blocks. $100 per 5 hours is a test price that is published only after real end-to-end voice costs are measured during pilots, so it is not a guaranteed margin. Nothing is charged automatically: every top-up needs explicit administrator approval.

Do unused voice hours roll over?

No rollover is promised. The pooled allowance is a monthly one and resets at the start of each period; whether pooled hours should roll over is still being validated against measured voice costs before paid subscriptions open.

The 2-Week Pilot

What is the 2-Week Pilot?

A $1,500 one-time engagement over 14 days: 6 named users, 25 Director voice calls of up to 60 minutes each, and access to all experiences, saved work and reports.

Is the pilot fee credited toward a subscription?

No. The pilot fee is standalone and is never credited toward a subscription — it pays for the pilot itself, not a deposit against a later term.

Does the pilot use our pooled seat hours?

No. The pilot runs on its own allowance of 25 Director voice calls. The 5-hours-per-seat pooled allowance belongs to a subscription and only begins once one is approved.

How do we start a pilot?

Apply on the Pricing page. Applications are stored and reach the owner inbox; no card is taken and no charge happens until you approve it.

Billing, terms and safeguards

When does billing actually start?

Only after explicit administrator approval. Creating an account is free, and 3-D never charges automatically — not for a subscription renewal, not for extra voice hours, not for overage.

How is the subscription invoiced?

Monthly in advance, in US dollars, for the number of named seats agreed. Seats added during the term are prorated to the next monthly renewal.

Does 3-D connect to our core banking system?

No. There are no live banking connectors. Practice data is labeled as practice data, and decisions stay with the people who approve them.

Where do partnership questions go?

Partnership and referral arrangements are scoped individually and handled on the Partnerships & Referrals page rather than through a plan here.
